Plexiglas® XT is an extruded acrylic glass of high quality, available in twenty standard colours and thickness varying from 1.5 to 25 milimetres. Extruded acrylics products are made by melting granules of raw acrylic, which are then pressed into sheets of the desired size.
Because of a very specific manufacturing process, extruded materials feature a more even thickness of individual sheets with negligible deviations from the nominal thickness, plus a resistance to ageing and external factors, typical for acrylic. Although it's available in fewer colours and less scratch-resistant, Plexiglas® XT is always the first choice in product manufacturing (especially in larger quantities) due to its affordable price.
